I now want a Coker Christmas. Possibly a Les one hander
I am here for an hour of Les Coker going "Ahhhh!" while he struggles getting the giblets out of the turkey.
Ahhh! I can't get my head around this birdie, Birdie!

Stacey didn't feature in the last Christmas episode so hopefully we see her and Martin having Christmas dinner with the Beales this year.

You don't get that kind of heartwrenching dialogue on Downton. :$

I really hope that the Csrter's new year story isn't another tacked on secret ala. Babe selling babies.

I'm fine with the Carters' NYD because they deserve it. The Mitchells had the NYD episode last year. But I really hope this year's Xmas will be all about the Mitchells and Beales. It would be great to have legends like Sharon, Kathy, Phil and Ian taking centre stage on Xmas Day.

I have a feeling Lee's depression storyline could have something to do with it all too.

I would like to see each character get at least one scene at Christmas. After last year Christmas won't be a very happy word in the Carter home and it would be two years since they got the Vic. All we need is a few little references to that without them dominating the episode.

I seem to recall Christmas 2012 being set mainly in one house which made it a bit dense. But the fact they rushed to kill off a character that a year ago had so much promise may have contributed to that as well as far as I think.

I think Dean is going to die on new years day. And I think Ronnie will be the one to do it. New years day is kind of her thing. A bit like how Phil used to cause deaths on new years eve. And it would be ironic as Deano was introduced on a new years day.

I think you may be onto something. Lee's depression could perhaps spiral out of control which leads him to attack Dean...or Ronnie simply caves his head in. I'd prefer the latter.

As much as i sometimes want Ronnie to finish Dean off, you don't think that would end up being a repeat of New Years Day 2014 (when she Murdered Carl White and crushed the car with his body still in it.)

Maybe someone will kill Ronnie. Like Roxy.

I would only want Roxy to kill Ronnie in self-defense when/if Ronnie tries raping her. And I mean actually when it happens, not waiting a while like Stacey and Ronnie.

A very quick Christmas dinner.

I don't think there should be another murderer in the show. But I think its much more natural if Lee does administer Dean's just deserts. So I'd settle on my original theory (back when we were promised some kind of justice toward Dean) that he is castrated.

At least this confirms that it's not a Carter Christmas.

I don't necessarily care what time of year the Carters get some material, I care more that it's decent stuff. The Carter "domination" of 2014 was fine for most of us because their stories were interesting and relevant. 2015 has been so bad for them because they've either had a tangled web of hideous storylines or nothing at all.

Get rid of the constant secrets, get rid of Dean and this family really stands a chance.

For me, the Carters don't interest me anymore. I only like Mick and Linda but they have been so dull for a while. I hope the NYD episode is special and very dramatic. Dean needs to go ASAP.

When Lee's depression storyline was first talked about, I remember reading an article which asked the question of whether he commits suicide. I don't know if that was based on anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if he attempts it - it's been in the news recently and has been commented on for a long time how a lot of men suffering from depression attempt suicide. After last night's episode, I can see this happening with Lee.
