So glad that half of today's episode won't be dedicated to Lauren giving birth.

Named after Lou? Who Peter never met and realistically wouldn't care about? Bit bullshitty. They should've said it was a male version of Lucy.

Matt Di Angelo was cringeworthy in the scene on the market.

NuDenny looking like he's just come out of Juvenile Detention. Love it.
"I loved it in the Olden Days because you talked more. There’s more action now. You know, we would do scenes in the Rovers of me, Bet and Doris Speed with a cup of coffee each before we opened the pub, talking about absolute rubbish. But it was something, and it was what people do." - Betty Driver

Lmao that's got to be the most obvious recast ever. 9 year old Denny's voice has broken, he's grown two feet taller and his hair has turned brown since they cut it off...

Cora calling out the Eastenders' obsession with "family" for the rubbish it is.

Ronnie and Kathy a pair of unlikeable bitches.

Edit adding Abi to that list. 3 bitches of Walford.

Julia Smith "We decided to go for a realistic, fairly outspoken type of drama which could encompass stories about homosexuality, rape, unemployment, racial prejudice, etc., in a believable context. Above all, we wanted realism".

Most ridiculous custody situation ever. Is everyone in this a moron? Ronnie doesn't have a leg to stand on.

I hope Abi gets done for perjury. It would be her first offense so unlikely to get a custodial sentence, but I'd love to see a few weeks of Abi coping with prison, and the full transition to Dark Abi, ready to catch Ben with Paul upon her return.

I know she's not a popular character, but it's nice to see Abi raking in some duff duffs this year. She's almost been on the show for 10 years and that was only her 9th.

Great episode. I'm not surprised we didn't see Lauren give birth. Jacqueline Jossa wouldn't have done it that well.

Those Kathy/Phil scenes were interesting.

Ronnie is such a bitch but Abi is the bigger bitch. Love it!

Abi was very Janine in that final shot, even pulling her trademark evil look.

It's clear this is the direction DTC and co are taking her. I approve.

UGH there are no words that exist in any language to measure the amount of hate I have for Abi at the moment!

Abi is no Janine. Janine would never have done to Frank what Abi just did to Max.

I merely meant the look Lorna gave at the end, it was eerily similar to Janine. I do think TPTB are grooming Abi to be the new Janine though.

My heart sank at the Phil and Kathy scene. Boo.

Everything Roxy/Ronnie/Charlie/Dean felt flat (if that makes sense). Charlie basically asked Roxy if she fancied being sloppy seconds and she seemed pretty warm to the idea. Urgh.

The court scenes weren't grand enough. I was angrier with Abi than Max so if this is why Lauren also betrays him then that plot strand went pop like a burst baloon.

Abi the bitch isn't as fantastic as it should be because Lorna still plays Abi as a child.

When I saw Denny it was just too much. What a difference between actors. I expected another blondie. It just felt wrong.
